The Center on Global Energy Policy hosted a presentation by Mark Finley, General Manager, Global Energy Markets & U.S. Economics, BP, on the BP Global Energy Outlook 2035, which was released on January 15, 2014. The Energy Outlook 2035 contributes to the wider debate on global energy issues by addressing key questions such as: What will the world's energy mix look like in 2035? Where is the growth in demand and supply going to come from? How and at what pace will renewables continue to grow? What are the implications for transport? Mr. Finley reviewed and discussed the projections in addition to examining some of the key assumptions behind the data. Center Director Jason Bordoff moderated the discussion following the presentation.
