Dr. Martin's work at the Center will focus on critical innovation, finance, regulatory and policy dynamics necessary to accelerate adoption of new energy technologies into the global market.

The Center on Global Energy Policy (CGEP) at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) announced Richard Nephew today as a Research Scholar and Program Director of the Center's newly launched program on Economic Statecraft, Sanctions and Energy Markets. Nephew's work will focus on the intersection between financial statecraft and energy markets, particularly recent experience with energy sanctions.

In a sign of its growing influence on policy and political discussions around energy production in the US and around the world, the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) today announced that Ambassador Carlos Pascual will be joining the Center in the Fall as a Fellow and Senior Research Scholar.

Building on its commitment to improve the quality of energy policy and dialogue through objective, balanced, and rigorous analysis, the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) today announced that Matthew Robinson has been named Director of Research Publications and a Senior Research Scholar and Robert M. Hallman and Robert McNally have joined as Non-Resident Fellows.

Building on a commitment to engage a diverse array of international experts in scholarship on the most pressing energy challenges facing the globe, the Center on Global Energy Policy (CGEP) at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) announced today the appointment of Adrian Lajous as a Fellow. Lajous has close to four decades of experience in public service and in the energy industry. He joins previously announced Fellows David Sandalow, Nobuo Tanaka and José Sergio Gabrielli de Azevedo.
