Teddy Kott is a non-resident Fellow at the Center on Global Energy Policy. In his full time role he serves as Head of Global Gas Analysis for EDF Trading, a subsidiary of the EDF Group. Headquartered in London, EDF Trading is one of the largest participants in global power, gas, coal, freight and environmental markets. Teddy is responsible for developing fundamental analysis and market views of North American gas, European gas, and LNG. Prior to joining EDF Trading in 2011, Teddy directed energy research at LCM Commodities, an independent brokerage in New York. He previously analyzed energy and emissions markets at Lehman Brothers. Teddy holds a BA in Public Policy and American Institutions from Brown University and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
