Managing Director, Global Head of Commodities Research, Citi
Edward Morse has been focused on energy policy and commodities since the 1970s, and is currently the managing director and global head of commodity research at Citi Group.
Previously, he served as managing director of commodity research at Credit Suisse and managing director at Louis Capital Markets. Dr. Morse was a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and served as the deputy assistant secretary of state for energy policy in both the Carter and Reagan administrations.
He received his BA in comparative literature and economics at Johns Hopkins University, an MA in international relations and international economics from Johns Hopkins University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, and a PhD in political economy at Princeton University.
