Morningside Campus Access Updates

The following color-coded campus status levels have been developed to simplify communication regarding the current circumstances on and around the Morningside campus. The campus status level is based upon the potential disruption to our academic mission and/or campus operations. The status level will be adjusted up or down to reflect then-current circumstances, including information received from law enforcement and other sources regarding potential events that could affect Columbia. Continued adherence to university rules and policies remains fundamental to maintaining an open campus. Read more.

Caroline Pitman

Special Assistant

Biography

Caroline Pitman is a Special Assistant at the Center on Global Energy Policy, Columbia SIPA; and will be supporting Jason Bordoff’s team.  

Prior to joining the CGEP, Caroline worked as a refugee resettlement specialist in Atlanta, Georgia as a part of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps.  She also previously worked at the Brookings Institution as a research assistant within the Leveraging Transparency to Reduce Corruption project and held internships with the United States Agency of International Development, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Freedom House. 

She has a Bachelor of Arts in International Policies from the Catholic University of America.
