The Center on Global Energy Policy hosted a conversation with Jack Lew, former Secretary of the Treasury, on U.S. economic statecraft. During a wide-ranging discussion with Richard Nephew, Senior Research Scholar at the Center on Global Energy Policy, Lew offered his views on the state of the global economy, the U.S. use of sanctions and other economically based foreign policy tools, and what the future may offer and demand from the United States in this regard.
