  • Columbia students, faculty, and staff can use the guest registration portal to register up to two same-day guests. Alumni can use the portal to register for campus same-day access as well. Learn more below.

Gerardo Ríos Garcia

Biography

Gerardo Ríos Garcia is a Research Assistant at CGEP and an MS in Sustainability Management Candidate at Columbia University. He is part of the School of Professional Studies Student Government and serves as the Marketing Director for the Sustainability Equity Alliance Student Group. Gerardo is the recipient of the Fulbright scholarship for his demonstrated leadership potential, cross-cultural adaptability, and strong commitment to public service and engagement. His work at CGEP primarily focuses on fertilizers, hydrogen, and decarbonization initiatives. Previously, he worked as a consultant for Marsh McLennan and Walter P. Moore. Currently, Gerardo is employed at the United Nations in the Department of Economic and Social Affairs, where he contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals team.
