Jesse McCormick is the Executive Director of Strategy and Operations at Columbia University's Center on Global Energy Policy. In this capacity he helps manage and provide strategic direction across a broad portfolio including research, communications, and operations. McCormick joined Columbia directly from the Obama White House where he served in a number of offices including the Council on Environmental Quality, the National Science and Technology Council, and the National Economic Council. Prior to joining the White House, McCormick’s experience included energy, economic, and innovation policy research at organizations in Boston and Washington, D.C. He earned his MPP from Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy and his BA, summa cum laude, from Tufts University.
