Events Coordinator
Kharla Thomas is an Events Coordinator at the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University SIPA. She has more than ten years of experience creating and executing events to help positively impact the communities that she is led to serve. Kharla is passionate about continuing to push the agenda to address and improve issues around education and help design policies to strengthen the community, the environment, and public health.
Kharla attended State University College at Old Westbury and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language, Hispanic Literature & Culture. She has an interest in marketing, branding, and public affairs. In her free time, she enjoys community event planning, traveling, and trying new foods.
