Sarah is a Research Associate at the Center on Global Energy Policy. Her work focuses on the power sector, renewables, and energy finance. Prior to joining CGEP, Sarah was a Senior Researcher in Energy Economics and Policy at the University College Dublin (UCD) Energy Institute, where she co-authored research on clean energy programs and policies, and served on a climate mitigation advisory committee for the Irish government. Previously, she worked as a Policy Advisor in the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, supporting analysis and implementation of President Obama's energy and climate agenda, and advising senior leadership on a range of policy and management issues. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Northeastern University in Boston, and a Master of Science in Energy & Environmental Finance from UCD.
